The #MontanaSpringRoadtrip aimed to combine a traditional media trip with a professional photo shoot. From the outside, the trip spanned 4,000 miles over six tourism regions in Montana over three weeks. The trip leveraged Andy’s over 35,000 social media followers to deliver real-time updates that fans could follow along with. Blogs were written in conjunction with the updates to provide detailed itineraries on everything from favorite breweries to the best trails that can be replicated by any traveler.
From the inside the trip combined forces of six different tourism regions, numerous CVBs, and the Montana Office of Tourism to give everyone photos to be in used indefinitely on everything from publications, to print ads, to websites, and more.
Results: The tour reached over 300,000 people across Facebook and Instagram and logged over 30,000 engagements. In addition to the social reach, clients were given full rights to over 500 photos captured during the road trip.
